When drives need elasticity… giubo couplings are the answer. A giubo or flex disc is a highly flexible shaft coupling capable of angular and axial movement, with four degrees of freedom. They are torsionally flexible, capable of angular movement and allow both axial and radial offset. As well as being used as compensator elements in drives, giubos are also ideal in the construction of torsionally flexible cardan shafts and in direct combination with switchable, dry-running couplings.
